Grandis' Bouquetby ~KirstenLane

Well after just over 3 weeks of on and off I've managaed to finish my first digital painting.
It was certainly a learning curve.

The title comes partially from the name of the name the legendary Blue Poppy of Tibet - meconopsis (grandis) and betonicifolia. They have long been two of my favourite flowers that I always wanted to put in a painting.

I realize the necklace stone is not quite in the right place - so no need to tell me (and if you do I'll know you didn't read my comments)

EDIT: 11/09 - the necklace was really annoying me sitting in the wrong place so I finally repainted the shoulder and arm to be over it as they should have been in the first place.

Painted in PSCS2 with tablet.

Note: I put 2007 by mistake instead of 08 on it - but I do that every year until it finally sinks in.
